Cooperatives are a rapidly growing sector and are proven to boost the economy of a local region or community. Buyer-cooperatives consist of businesses and entrepreneurs who “chip in” or get a group bulk discount on services and products. Worker-cooperatives are business enterprises that are owned, operated and governed by their employees.
DeafMade Cooperative is a hybrid worker-buyer cooperative with the goal of supporting the growth of Deaf-owned businesses, Deaf entrepreneurs and creatives. We are exploring and innovating solutions that increase access to resources, support, and training. Above all, we aspire to create a thriving community of forward thinkers. Join us!
