Founded by Satdaya LLC’s partners, Eventida is now its own entity, incorporated in Washington DC and in fundraising stage. Currently, the site receives over 12,000 visitors monthly, hundreds of event listings weekly, and has a proven MVP (minimum viable product). See their profile on F6S.
Events are an experience. These experiences should be accessible to everybody, but most are not. Those who have a disability, food allergy, or signs/speaks a different language often face barriers at events.
The problem with accessibility is threefold: time – arranging accommodations require more time and focus than people are willing to spare; money – the smaller the event the tighter the budget, leaving little or no room to provide access; and resources – event hosts who don’t know what to do or lack resources are more likely to say no.
Eventida is an events promotion app serving the fast growing accessibility and inclusion market. Users may promote their accessible event to those who have access needs, or an accessible service to event hosts.
The “forever free” plan allows users to post a listing, linking to their event site, or create a site and add pages. Users can also create lists and embed lists or events on other sites.
On the paid subscription, $29 monthly, event list promotions can be automated and professionals, businesses, and organizations can post accessible services, products and venues in the marketplace.
This project is in active “ongoing support” status. Eventida relies on Deafmade members to support its needs, from daily event approvals to event promotions to setting up websites and importing event lists.

We have a problem – a good problem! The site is slow loading because it has too many events – the code needs overhauling. Currently, we are fundraising and pulling together a team for “Eventida 3.0” where the database, code, user experience, and knowledgebase needs revamping.
