Eventida is launching a free event promoter support and training program for qualified Deaf individuals and businesses who wish to make it easier to find and share accessible and inclusive events in their community.
If you are a professional who makes things happen fast, can operate on budgets big and small, tend to think BIG, and has a flair for presenting events to the public in a way that makes it a “can’t miss!!” event – you are what we are looking for.
Run your own business, be your own boss, and work with the Eventida team to make a living doing what you love. The job is simple…
Find and promote events to an audience, either regional or interest-based, utilizing tools and solutions to grow your following. You will learn how to maintain event lists, social media, advertisements, publicity, and optionally, sell tickets and registration.
You’ll develop relationships with event hosts, sponsors and vendors who share a passion for accessible and inclusive events, and be a part of bringing great experiences to your community!
If you are more interested in taking events from the beginning stages of planning and organizing to the final production, whether it is a simple networking event, an entertainment production or full scale conferences, this is for you too!
With the event promoter training, you’ll gain software skills that help you stay organized, oversee the event team, and work with stakeholders to ensure that everything happens on schedule. Being part of the Eventida network will ensure a steady stream of opportunities!
The main objective of your job will be to make it easy for your audience to keep up with event information and updates – and above all, enjoy great event EXPERIENCES.
